Podernuovo a Palazzone is a new wine estate in Southern Tuscany, close to San Casciano dei Bagni, at the border to Lazlo and Umbria. The estate expands over 20 hectares including Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines. It is managed by Giovanni Bulgari, the successor to the famed jewelry dynasty.

Developed with respect for the terroir of Tuscany, the goal of PoderNuovo a Palazzone is to not only produce beautiful wines but also healthy products helping to preserve the culture and landscape of the region.

Tasting Notes: G33 paints the glass a bright and elegant ruby red. It offers much depth and refinement on the nose, with violets, lead pencil and crushed stones, and balsamic and mint nuances. Full-bodied, with tannins as fine and polished as cashmere. Extremely long and taut, with wonderful presence

This is a new red, made from merlot, sangiovese and petit verdot, offering plenty of depth and sophistication, with violets, lead pencil and crushed stones and undertones of balsamic and mint. Full-bodied with ultra-fine tannins that are polished and cashmere-like. Extremely long and tight with wonderful presence. A selection from the best vineyards of the estate. About 1,000 bottles made. Needs two or three years of bottle age, but classic stuff. Try after 2025.
