Cloisonne Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

The Cloisonne label is made by Mark Neal. Marks father Jack started his vineyard management company back in 1968. Mark was cultivated at a young age to follow right in his father’s footsteps. By 1994 the company was renamed Jack Neal & Son or as its referred to, JNS Vineyard management. Today, JNS is one of the largest service providers in northern California. Mark also started the family label “Neal Vineyard’s” where all 7 of his kids work today, continuing the family legacy.

Cloisonne is a Napa Based winery that creates premium wines out of the top AVA’s in Napa. With over 20 years of experience, the team here of Mark Neal and Davis Rossi look to create wines that are the anthesis of many commercial wines you will find out there at your local liquor store. The wines from this label are absolute gems that customers will be very pleased with at an extremely modest price. The wines are produced in very small batches, and sell out quickly.

Tasting Notes: A complex wine with layers of deep black fruits. Deep aromas of black cherry, dried herbs, black tea, cedar, cigar box, and licorice. Long finish with baking spices on the palate. Supple tannins that that add structure and weight to this special wine. Aged for 15 months using 100% French oak to create a masterpiece. This wine demonstrates why Napa Valley is considered one of the finest places in the world to grow Cabernet Sauvignon.

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
