Aril Wines - Kick Ranch Syrah 2014
Considered a benchmark vineyard for Rhone varietals in Sonoma, this medium weight Syrah shows well with soft tannins. On the nose, blackberry fruit mingles with savory herbs, olive notes and wet earth. On the palate, the bold body adds cherry and raspberry, white pepper and a hint of sassafrass buoyed by vibrant acidity. A classic combination of old world inspiration meeting California fruit. This wine expresses ripeness, complex aromatics and great structure. Decant it now or cellar it for several years.
